An Australian friend from long ago, John, who lives in LA, is in search of a book editor. What he has is, in his words: “just over 80,000 words of a travel/history/adventure story based on real events. In the realm of memoir / creative nonfiction, with strong elements of natural history and an explorers’ sub narrative.”
I have not read this story of his, but I can assure that he’s a capable writer with a gigantic knowledge base.
Sadly, this is not a job for me, in this moment. Might any of my talented colleagues here be both able&available to take this on? If so, please get back to me with some price indications / time estimates / relevant previous projects – those kinds of things. And then I can make introductions and let John decide from there.
