I am curious to see if any facilitators are still doing in-person workshops. Precovid, I loved my inperson sessions, held at my home!
I also have someone in the Portland, OR area looking for in-person workshops.

I’ve been doing in-person workshops for a year and a half. I rent space rather than having them in my home. Some of my regulars will not do Zoom for one reason or another, but I am looking into going online also.
I have thought about renting space too and will look into it here. Thanks for sharing!
I am sorry I did not respond sooner. Other than a covid break I have run a weekly, in-person group consistently for about six years. We meet every Tuesday evening, alternating one session being a Write and Read, AWA style with a prompt and lovely read around, the other is a sit and write, where participants come and write together. They can write whatever they like, I bring a prompt just in case and can leave when they are done. I am there the full two hours. It helps to build a practice of writing regularly. It remains incredibly bonding. There is a core that have attended throughout, but new members join occasionally. We’ve added three just this last year. I also do an in person Novel/Memoir group that meets once a month, produces 3000 words from a current project between sessions, shares them about a week before we get together so people have time to read and prepare feedback (AWA style, manuscript review). Finally, I go into Folsom Prison, in person, and write with inmates (one group of 35-40; one group of 10-15). Hope this encourages you to start them back up. I love the face to face.
